​Take a look and become better informed about meeting children's needs. If we, as parents and educators, are able to better understand and meet their needs, we're taking that first step to shift the narrative. The book explores making this shift in much more detail, referencing the DfE, the ongoing Curriculum and Assessment Review (I touched on their interim findings last week), research by WEF and BPS, as well as drawing on works of those such as Dr Gabor Mate, Ken Robinson and Dr Becky Kennedy, for example. It also explores how alternative models like Global Academy, apprenticeships and alternative provision options are all brilliant sources of inspiration. Knowing what can be done and how to meet the needs of our children is key - once we know better, we can do better.
